Our carrier development strategy is to grow and develop our carrier relationships in a way that improves the commitment and reliability of the right carriers for our business needs. We leverage technology and a human interaction to access our carrier networks idle capacity and spent years crafting our process of matching this capacity with our customers’ freight needs. We built a robust network of carriers across multiple transportation modes. This comprehensive network allows us to cover the majority of our customers’ freight with relationship carriers.

RWI Logistics is a non-asset based logistics solutions provider located in Fort Thomas, Kentucky across the river from Cincinnati, and a part of the Castellini Group of Companies. Founded in 1896 on the original Cincinnati produce terminal market, Castellini Company is one of the oldest members in the produce industry and grew to be one of the largest distributors of fresh produce in the country. Over several decades, the Castellini Company acquired additional companies to support their expanding business. In 1974, Castellini purchased Riley Whittle, Inc, an asset based trucking company operating since 1954, to haul produce from the growing regions of the United States into the Midwest for customer distribution.

RWI Transportation flourished using its own fleet and outside carriers to meet and exceed our customer service expectations. To focus on the rising demand of non-asset based logistics services, the strategic decision was made to separate RWI Logistics from RWI Transportation in 2013. We have evolved since our start and now offer services ranging from asset based transportation, freight brokerage services, and freight management.
